Oman Commercial Document Attestation

Attestation is a mandatory process by which each individual who is planning to go abroad whether for work, education or business, needs to get their respective original documents attested by the Embassy. These documents play an important role in business transaction.

The following list includes some of the documents that can be attested. The list is not comprehensive and can include more documents.

List of Commercial Export Documents:

  • Certificate of origin

Attestation is a step-by-step procedure, which is as follows;

  1. Commercial Document, which to be attested from Oman Embassy or Consulate present in India, will be attested from the Chambers of Commerce first .
  2. Then the Commercial Document will be attested from Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), New Delhi.
  3. Lastly, Commercial Document will be attested from Oman Embassy or Oman Consulate present in India.

NOTE: The Commercial document could be attested from Chambers of Commerce anywhere in India.
